At 10 months old, babies are much stronger. This is the time when they need abundant nutrition for comprehensive development. At this point, babies have a few teeth that can bite but cannot chew yet. Therefore, mothers should choose soft foods for their 10-month-old baby’s weaning menu so that the baby can crush the food with their front teeth and gums.

    Diet for 10-month-old babies

Babies should be fed 3-5 meals/day: Mothers must ensure that the composition of the meal always includes all 4 basic food groups: protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals.

Pay attention to 2-3 snacks/day: For snacks, mothers can vary with: milk, yogurt, soup, vermicelli, pho, cakes… and each day, the baby should also be breastfed about 600-800ml of milk/day.

Supplement fruits and fiber in the child’s snacks: Mothers can make fresh vegetable juice for the baby to drink alternately with the main meals, in addition to giving the baby fruit juice. Because juice from root vegetables both provides water for the baby and effectively supplements vitamins from these fruits and vegetables.
